MISSION STATEMENT:

 

The mission of this department is to promote the goals, policies, and objectives of the government by providing a full range of professional services related to item collection, reference, research, cataloging, evidence preservation, and physical storage services, available to other departmental employees in both the Washington, DC, area and nationwide.

The DFTPAR's collections include evidence, historical artifacts, relevant files, as well as a broad range of related books, journals, and other resources in a variety of formats that support the mission of the Department, its agencies, and bureaus.
